My new little corner.

Considering I spend most if not all of my time sat at my desk, I thought it was about time I got comfortable. So a quick trip to good old Ikea and about £150 later I came up with this.

In my living room along my main wall I've got bloody central heating pipes the big 22mm buggers, so I couldn't fit an ordinary desk flat against the wall. So my solution was buy a basic desk the Micke, along with a couple of the matching Micke drawer units, and a couple of extra legs. That's the base sorted, then for the top a Linnmon corner and a 120mm linnmon straight piece.

Doing this allowed me to have the desk and drawer units off the wall, but the desk tops, flat against the wall. perfect for my needs. Plus it give me about 100mm more depth to work with.

I'm chuffed with the outcome and it is huge.

Dude, that's awesome. I'd love to have room for such massive speakers/monitors.

But you deffinitely need to replace your chair, mate ;) ;)

Cheers guys.

The chair, oh the stool yea defo needs to be changed I get awful back ache. I've got an FK racing chair it's just not in the pics.

Impressive use of (what looks like) CPUZ to cover that NSFW content ;)

The drawers under the monitors is a cracking idea, my desk is covered in junk!

Those AOC's (I assume that's what they are from the pics) look alright, even if the advertised or at least pictured bezels aren't nearly as thin as they made them out to be! :)

Cheers mate, I thought I'd better keep the pic family friendly, funnily though, they are the only parts that aren't covered up usually...:D

The monitor bezel although it has an inner border is still under 10mm, the thing that bugs me is the bottom bezel, it is a good few mm higher than the screen, causing the screens never to line up properly.

I'm either going to have to dremel the corners down a tad, or continue to have the 2 outer monitors slightly behind the front one.

am i the only one to spot the naked chick desktop wallpaper.. only for part of the windows covering the naughty parts haha

for me, the bottom bezel is about 1 mm below the screen.

It's the thickness of the bezel that's my issue mate. When you try to line them up, they don't sit flush.

Right i see my bad, totally get you now.

Nice set up though have to admit, woukd love a triple monitor even 1080 isnt enough once i have visual studio, word open.

Nice set it mate!

You don't seriously use that stool? My back aches just at the mere thought of it. Do you have any lighting behind those monitors? I think that wallpaper (on the walls, not the screen) would light up nicely.

Cheers guys

No I don't use the stool, Ive got an FK automotive chair, the stool is just for my feet. I've got lighting but it is under the monitors plinth for now.

As for the desk parts here you go mate.
