Considering I spend most if not all of my time sat at my desk, I thought it was about time I got comfortable. So a quick trip to good old Ikea and about £150 later I came up with this.
In my living room along my main wall I've got bloody central heating pipes the big 22mm buggers, so I couldn't fit an ordinary desk flat against the wall. So my solution was buy a basic desk the Micke, along with a couple of the matching Micke drawer units, and a couple of extra legs. That's the base sorted, then for the top a Linnmon corner and a 120mm linnmon straight piece.
Doing this allowed me to have the desk and drawer units off the wall, but the desk tops, flat against the wall. perfect for my needs. Plus it give me about 100mm more depth to work with.
I'm chuffed with the outcome and it is huge.
