Hey guys. This is my baby. Been changing her around for about a year and im about to upgrade her quite a bit so stay tuned for some ingenious creativeness. (I hope)

So here she is : -

My wonderful B&W speakers with my lovely Saitek Eclipse Board and GM3200 Mouse.

This is my case. I stole the Fusion sticker off my mate from his subwoofer.

Iv sprayed the interior of the case Gloss Black just to make the UV more effective in the dark.

My entire set up. Tis cushty....

Cheers for looking guys. Stay tuned and I'll add some more better quality pics at some stage. Hope you guys like it though. Any suggestions for a custom case would be much appreciated.

(p.s I didnt steal the signs, I just wake up sometimes and they are in my room, sssssh...:rollingla

tbh, i'd LOVE to have a system like that, i dunno why your upgrading :p

lol

but as for an upgrade on graphics, either an 8800GT, or a HD3850 i would say would compliment that system nicely :)

Hey

The 9700 is ok to be honest. Its huge, but tastefully huge if you know what I mean? I like the fins on it and the copper tubing, plus you also get the Zalman fanmate which is excellent ( i never have mine on full speed and im overclocking)

My 9700 was free though because microdirect.com owed me some store credit so I think thats better. To be honest I wouldnt buy one, id look at the scythe ninja (pardon my spelling) because I have heard great things about them. Id recommend comparing the 2 before you buy anything.

So far as the Hard Drive. Not one single problem...nothing at all. Iv got it partitioned 3 more times so iv got places where I can store videos, games, drivers , programs and sentimental stuff because im always reformatting. I must have reformatted about 30 times in the year iv had it and its amazing, not one problem.

Id buy the hard drive...get a bigger one though...but definitely a seagate barracude 7200.10. also, if you do buy the 9700 then buy some decent thermal paste, the stuff you get with it is rubbish. Id recommend Artic Silver.

Cheers bud, sorry for the essay :D

Tbh I cant tell you. They are B&W CM1 speakers which I have replaced the front one so I can put different Dust Covers overs them. I think they are worth around £500 a pair but I didnt pay that for them. Iv always had a decent hi fi. Iv got 2 Tag Mclaren power amps on the way soon too :p

ha ha ha

Fair enough. Iv had um since they first come out so meh... I dont find them as good as my old Eltax Monitor Speakers which were only £100 a pair. Weird.

That's probably due to the amp more than the speakers, you really shouldn't find fault with B&W - unless of course you're not running a separate sub unit in which case AAAAARGH!

hmm..

Id never want to run a seperate sub unit. no need and im powering them with a cambridge audio A1 amp. They are quite well suited so they sound good. I just dont think they give me that nice crisp sound of my eltax. But then again they were monitor speaker so meh... still a decent sound though.

What hi fi you got running?

Just Logitech Z5500's for the time being but the Duke and myself spent a lot of time in the audio shop the other day stroking a set of B&W's whilst inquiring about the new series they just released :D

Well the fellow in the shop tweaked up when we mentioned B&W then proceeded to show us lots of top notch speakers and a 60" TV that we might want to hook them up to :p

Not sure if he showed us PMC though.

fair enough

B&W are good speakers. Best thing...kevlar cones and they look gorgeous too. Youll notice in a small room that when you turn your head or move slightly you can hear each speaker differently. The sound they put out is incredible for what they are.
