My HTT Bus on my 3200+ skt 754

Hi All.

First to say I'm pleased with my new CPU and motherboard!! Good advice from all a ya!!

Now the "problem"

I've used a couple of CPU "recognisation" programs (can't remember the bloody names now I'm at work) and all of them have said that my HTT bus is either "not supported" or "disabled". Now I've taken a look in the BIOS but its complicated (compared to my old MSI board) and I can't find the HTT bus or anything referring to it.

Anyone have any ideas how I can enable this/if it is a problem? :(

Hrmmm... Ur HTT should be set at 5x from the factory, my adjustment is found under the "Advanced Chipset Features" in the BIOS.

Even with the HTT @ 800 on the skt 754?

I believe you just checking! I'll try that when I'm home.

Thanks :D

You know what I mean! lol... 4x for u :D hehe

Do a quick search through the entire BIOS, it shouldn't be hidden anywhere to extravagent as it's one of the more "necessary" things to change when it comes down to overclockin'.

I'm unfamiliar with the namings of the BIOS subgroups on DFI boards but it should be in an Advanced subgroup or a Power subgroup.

I think it was a strange looking option in the Genie BIOS.

Does this look about right for the HTT bus (I think its the HTL bus?)

Should be LDT bus bro ....... HTT bus = LDT x FSB

for socket 754 its 4(LDT) x 200(Fsb) = 800 mhz.

HTT is kind of like Intel when they quadpump their fsb so their processors run at 800mzh and 1066 mhz fsb . But unlike intel AMD's performance isnt that dependent on the HTT bus and u can alter it . Intel Quadpumps it no matter what.

Good cause that's the setting that I altered. Then that's the setting that is 800MHz on this pic!!
