recable, (possibly red and white theme)

a new leather headband with more comfort,

and i might liberate the drivers..

ill put up loads of pictures on everything that im doing..

if anyone is an awesome woodwork specialist that could help me with the wood cups, it would be much appreciated!

Cant wait to see them when finished.

I have considering modding my Klipsch image one with nicer wires. I just have not gotten around to it.

well after the seller posting my grados somewhere else, they finally arrived this morning!

when i first put them on, they felt really flimsy and no weight to them, i really do hope that they are better with the wood cups.

ok so heres the mods i did to them today then (nothing too drastic yet...)

i removed the rubbish protective layer of nylon that separates the drivers from my ears.

that wasn't too hard, a sharp knife did it within a minute..

the next thing i did was liberate the drivers, i did this by removing the plastic cups of the headphones..

i tried a method of heating the glue through steam (very 19th century), it didn't work.

i then got a hairdryer and heated the glue up that way, they still needed a little bit of a push, so i used the knife from removing the nylon to separate the pieces of plastic..

the next thing i did was stab the end of the knife through the translucent holes in the driver, some people just do the 4, i decided to go with all 12.

the difference you may ask?
