My Gaming System. Upgrades in progress

Optical drive bays are those annoying things that take up radiator space :D

I would recommend getting the 760 non-i and the 8320 cpu to save some more money - put it towards fans or a better 290 gpu

Well, Id rather a case with a little more space and then could do more in it.

Edit : NRG i would rather get an 8350 i want the best CPU possible because i do alot of video editing and rendering so i would rather spend the money on that.

the 8350 is the same cpu, just higher clocked. if you want the best cpu possible, have fun with ivybridge-e.

Coming from an AMD user here, don't go for a AMD cpu for video editing and rendering unless you don't mind waiting for a long time, rendering isn't their strong points. Recording and streaming they're perfectly fine though.

Blue mobo + red everything else is hurting my eyes :P

apart from that, ax760 is in my opinion slightly overkill for just a mid range system. Again you could drop to a 650w and use funds to upgrade case.

Be quiet 730w is on amazon right now for £79 if you're interested :)

But bearing in mind I'll be getting r9 290 and ssd new CPU ect and one day I might even crossfire so I want the headroom
And I was looking at the formula V mobo to go red to match

I was taking the fx8350 + r9 290 into account when I said it's overkill ;)

But if you're serious about crossfire, then fair enough

RM650 from Corsair seems decent (fully modular) for only £90, or if you wanted to save some funds to invest elsewhere, the Be Quiet L8-730w (semi-modular) is going for just £79 = very good watt/£

I know! I've always wanted a red one and as I said I've seen the crosshair formula one haha. When the pc was built my parents paid for it and they weren't going all out on it haha. But now I have my own job full time money ain't an issue really haha

The RM650 won't handle anything more than a 1 CPU and 1 GPU system. It has limited connections. You need at least a RM850 to handle crossfire or SLI, even then 2 gpus and 1 cpu already max out the connections. An AX860 psu would be better off for OP. Has more connections overall and thus giving him more room to play with.

my rm750 has enough connectors for SLi and 750W gold will suffice as well.
