My Folding@home will soon be limited / postponed...... :(

Hey Guys

As the subject says my Folding@home will be postponed for a while, appart from I will still be Folding with my PS3

Its all due to my sister, as she has had a PC for about 10 years now, that has finally given up (If it were mine, I would have thrown it out the window by now, its sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo slow) So she wants me to build her a PC, No prob I have all the components for another PC build, but just NO time, So she is having my folding@home rig, and when I have 2 minutes to spare I will build another one out of the spares I have.

So my Folding@home contribution will be limited for a while, starting probably 2nd week in sept

NO ONE think I will never return - I WILL BE BACK !!!!

I usually do something similar...whenever I upgrade, my sister or brother get my older parts.

I will be keeping it folding right until she takes it, which i think will be week starting the 6th sept (sometime that week) but I will keep my PS3 folding...... so won't be completely gone LOL

All is not lost everyone else will help pick up the slack my 1090T is currently banging out a 6701 should be done in about 4 hrs I've cranked up my gtx470 and currently building a dual opteron 6128 olding rig

I'm back in a limited time for now. Figures when I get back a heatwave hits and we are expecting "near record highs".

Hopefully by the end of the week it'll cool off a bit and I can go full power.

OK my mine folding rig has gone now (to my sister) So I am now only folding with my PS3 until I get time to build myself another rig. Maybe an excuse to get a 460...... who knows.

Will need to buy a few bit anyway, like case etc, but most of the hardware I have already

Do what you can for now as it all helps. We will still be here when you get going again.

I do hope you put shortcuts to F@H in Startup and told your sister to leave the comp on 24/7
