My first gaming rig after suffering many years on laptops i finally got a decent gaming system LoL. Appreciate all the assistance the OC3D community helped me with in choosing parts etc. Thanks again i really appreciate it

Im not sure if its triple channel i know i got 12gb though LoL. Tom mentioned about 12gb too and i was kind of confused. sorry im kind of new to all this

Great board for the price.

Personally, overkill on the CPU!! Especially for gaming but you can never have too much power. How are temperatures on that chip with the Hyper 212 Evo cooler? (I highly rate this air cooler, done amazing things for me in the past as it is the ONLY [to my knowledge] air cooler to have a full copper bottom created directly from the pipes, usually if the pipes have contact there are gaps or if it's a full copper block it's usually an additional block on the pipes)

Nothing wrong with three sticks of ram, it's a little out the ordinary but not to worry as your board will run two sticks is Dual Channel and the other stick in Single Channel. Personally I'd of gone with either two or four sticks though.

How in the hell are you running Triple channel memory in a Z97 motherboard

He's not, 2 sticks will run dual and the third stick will run single. Luckily. Had some misinformed advice somewhere.

He's running 3x4GB sticks. Getting another 4GB stick will make it 16GB which is the normal thing we are used to seeing above 8GB.

Not to bad but the one thing I would change is the cables from the back. Zip tie them or use a velcro strap to keep them tight and put them out of sight so it looks more clean
