My first build

Hi all
After years of buying over priced retail computers i have decided to have ago at building my own!
My main use for the rig would be flight sims so i want good FPS and graphics.I have been looking around for a couple of weeks now getting what info i can and the sort of spec i want and am about ready to take the plunge and order the Mb,processor.Now the one i was thinking of is:
Intel Core I7 3820 Overclocked to 4.2Ghz Quad Core CPU Processor - BX80619I73820 - Socket 2011

Asus Sabertooth X79 Intel X79 DDR3 SLI Crossfire ATX Motherboard - Socket 2011

16 GB Corsair Vengeance LP DDR3 1600MHz RAM Memory
Now i can order this today for £600 but like always saw this deal and am having second thoughts:
Intel Core I5 3570K 4.4Ghz Quad Core Ivybridge CPU Processor - BX80637I53570K - Socket 1155


Asus Sabertooth Z77 Intel Z77 DDR3 ATX HDMI Motherboard - Socket 1155


16GB Corsair Vengeance LP DDR3 1600MHz RAM Memory

I can get this for £450 so which would be best,the new mb with a i7
or the older mb saving £150?

go for the 3570k with a msi gd55 board and 8gb 1600 vengeance ram

^As above, also chuck in an ssd (Crucial or Samsung) and a decent 650w psu

Yeh - I dont really see the point in the 3820 - it's the same price as the 2700k, similar to the 3770k, the motherboards are more expensive, and the 2700k and the 3770k overclock better.
Get the 3570k, GD55, 8gb of RAM

No, i am open to any idea's,like i say i'am new to this so any advice is good.You boy's know your stuff so i will look into it some more.

You dont need anything more than an i5 for gaming - dont need any more than 8gb of RAM for pretty much anything other than rendering which I'm guessing you wont be doing, and the MSI boards are probably the best performing boards in the Z77 range.
Then just add a 670 and you'll be set for gaming and get over 60 FPS in pretty much every game
