My first all out build in a rather unorthodox case

Hello All :)

I wanted to get myself into some pc gaming on a budget and decided to try and build me a new PC on a budget.

Well it went slightly off track, and while still being on a budget I ended up modding everything I could get my hands on.

I think it turned out rather nice.B)

Mind you the case I used is for a PC I bought for my wife wen she went to college back in 2000 or so.

Nice. Have you thought about covering up the drive bays with something on the front? Make it even prettier than it is.

Looking good dude!
For an old case it seems quite capable with some imagination and skill.
Thanks, it took a bit of work figuring out how to fit things like I wanted and still have decent airflow in this case.

Absolutely super! Is that case from an old HP or Dell?
Thank you. Its actually an old Gateway case. (well the whole computer was)

Top notch job is that mate
Thank you bud.

Excellent job breathing new life into a old case. Neatly done.
Thank you sir.

Thanks, I have but honestly its more utilitarian than anything. (The pretty is for next time lol)

That is excellent, I've got a very similar old HP case like that knocking around. Lovely job.
Thank you, when tight on funds those will do, lol

Thats amazing! Good job .
Thank you

This is pretty brilliant.
lol Thanks

This is awesome! I love how unsuspecting it looks only to reveal all that lovely hardware inside
Thanks. Whats funny is Ive had friends and family come over after I redid the case telling me they thought it was time for a pc upgrade. lol

Very Nice! I'd have never thought an old case like that could look so good
Thank you. I tried my best to make it look better.

Very nice job with that case, my OCD is going nuts though where the carbon weave goes in different directions!

Thanks, That's just an optical illusion to keep your eyes falling back into the center of the case. lol No I ran out of vinyl after a miscut and didn't want to pay for some more. Next time though money will be less of an obstacle.

Superb job!

Thank you

All in all its been a fun experience (I usually work on customizing cars) and cant wait to do it again. This time with a real water cooling setup and a lot more detail work.

You did a great job there! Haven't seen that color scheme a lot yet, looks fantastic!

Thank you. Blue is my favorite color and some little accenting colors as well. :D

You done incredible job with sleeve...
It's much better without heatsrink.
Excellent.

Thank you. I personally think it looks better without it as well. Not to say though there are some awesome shrinked sleeves around though. In some cases it adds a little touch.:D
