My Build With Modified Swiftech H240-X

Alright here's my rig which I've been working on quite some time. I first tried with an EK-Kit set, but the pump was so noisy it made me crazy. I also had a Corsair Obsidian 750D case at first, however there was so much wrong with this case even though I really liked the design. The build quality was pathetic to say the least.

My main goal with this build was to get a reasonable silent PC for gaming, which is why I went for the Fractal Define R4. I had to mod the plastic front so the H240-X would fit, but it wasn't too much of a problem. Guess I couldn't be arsed to buy the new R5 :)

I don't typically care much about overclocking except on the GPU. So this system wasn't built for heavy OC, hence why I only have one 280mm radiator. My temps are quite decent considering. And the Matrix 780 Ti gets HOT with its default cooler attached... I was always hitting 83 degrees at full load.

Load Temps:

CPU: max 55 degrees Celsius.
GPU: max 62 degrees Celsius.

Specs:

Fractal Design Define R4 Black Pearl
Intel i7 5820K @ 3.6 GHz
G.Skill Ripjaws 4 2666 MHz CL15, 4x4 GB
ASUS X99-A
ASUS Matrix Platinum GTX 780 Ti 3 GB (1092 MHz Boost Clock)
Samsung SSD 850 Pro 128 GB
Samsung SSD 840 Pro 512 GB
Corsair HXi 1000w
Swiftech H240-X with Noctua NF-A14 fans
EK EK-FC780 GTX Ti Matrix - Acetal+Nickel w/ backplate
Silverstone AP141-UV + Corsair AF140 Quiet Edition fans
CableMod cables for PSU

Notes: I know the PSU is overkill, but I couldn't get the other models back in September. The red RAM isn't intended either, but again back in September there was a serious lack of DDR4 memory on the market. I don't use a windowed side panel anyway, so no big deal.

Also sorry for some of the pictures being slightly blurred. It seems I don't have a very steady hand.

Hehe yea but unfortunately not everytime that works;)

Sorry for the OT OP... went a little of track here :p

Np :)

No that's not actually the reason for it being there. I have some old games and stuff on DVD/CD that I'd like access to, as well DVD movies. I don't have a dedicated DVD player.
