Rig specs. asrock z68 extreme3 gen 3. 2500k @4.3ghz, 8gb kingston genesis memory. saphire 7870 ghz edition,

the card in these photo's is my old 5770. but here is my updated gallery http://forum.overclock3d.net/showthread.php?t=46311

pc1.JPG

as you can see i changed the window to a non vented. much nicer look

pc5.JPG

pc2.JPG

i love the black on black with a little red. takes a lot of white lighting to make it pop tho

pc6.JPG

due to the very sexy look of the shinobi i don't want anything to ruin it, so i fitted the fan controller facing in and outta sight. but still accessible if needed

pc7.JPG

i tried to minimize as much visible cabling as poss, however as we all know, some of it is kinda needed.

pc3.JPG

the down side of the cable management is all this at the back, was a bit of a challenge to get it all in and the back on. most of it is zip tied down, but the fan cables have been re-fitted several times so they are a bit of a mess, but it is hidden mess so i can live with that

pc4.JPG

i didn't even want my ssd in a hdd bay so i fitted it hidden in a 5 1/4 bay. The Blu-ray drive is hidden by a Bitfenix stealth drive bay cover, other than a gpu upgrade I want/need im very happy with my work

but it would look better with painted the inside bare metal.

erm.. where is the bare metal??? other than the d14. the whole case is black

Looks really nice, but you need to add rig specs in the post, sig specs won't do

aah crap, how did i not do that...

2500k @4.5ghz
Asrock extreme3 gen3 z68 mobo
Noctua NH-D14
Sapphire 7870 oc @1250mhz
Kingston hyper-x genesis 1600mhz
XFX pro 750 semi modular psu
Asus xonar dg
OCZ vertex3 60gb ssd
Seagate 500gb hdd
all wrapped up in a Bitfenix Shinobi window case. with the window panel changed for a non vented

Nice rig Mate, gotta love the Shinobi i just got mine and i love it Just spewing that i have the full wired version of the PSU you are using so cable management was a pain, but you have some nice hardware in there.

niiiice...
suggestion:

velco SSD to behind the mobo tray (less cable management from the mobo to optibay),
move the HDD to optibay (piggy-back power harness), and move the fan controller to optibay.

in sata wiring, i'll use the molex to sata adapter and have less PSU taps.. and daisey chain
the molex rail. already you are already using molex for the fan controller... just an easier
idea to control wiring and tidyness...

your noctuas look white in the pix... bleached or just the lighting?

airdeano

the fans are just a bit bleached out from the flash. however. I think I will take your advice on the ssd. I need to rewire in order to fit some alchemy bits. I may fit the 2fan controllers on the back of the hdd cages.
