I'm thinking of creating a little server farm. the cpu's will only be around 1GHz range. Just wondering if it was possible to power more than 1 motherboard using 1 psu.

thanks for any help.

Hmm what would you be planning on doing with things like the ATX connector? Piggy-back one off the other?

maybe so, there's a status sort of wire that tells everything to switch on (green i think). Not sure how this would react with 2 motherboards.

Yeah it's the green one.

I think that if you got a decent PSU, and run the ATX and P4-12v cables to both boards, then it would work fine.

If both board had full atx connectors plugged in to the board, then either PC would be able to turn the PSU on.

cool, Just got 10ish duron 1ghz pc's from a school :D but they have no ram in. So if anyone has some pc133 ram they would like to donate, pm me :)

just had a look at the psu's that are in them, there fsp 180 watts, you think its worth playing around with spilting?

I'm making a folding farm by the way.
