Msi z87-gd65 vs asus z87-pro

Im building a new Haswell rig. im putting in a 4670k, GTX 770 and 8GB 1600 memory and im having the hardest time choosing between the ASUS Z87-PRO and MSI Z87-GD65. I am a die hard ASUS fan but i have to say im a huge fan of msi and especially this motherboard. I would like to hear what you guys think. Please do not take the appearance or price of the boards into the conversation. Stay focused on features and key usability of the boards. I already know that the msi board looks a million times better lol. Any thoughts would be great, thank you guys!

Looking at those specs you are probably buying this rig for gaming, in which case I'd recommend the MSI board for their features like the audio chip and ethernet solution.

Features are roughly the same, so I would just go with the one that looks better in your rig. I would go for MSI.

I am a ASUS fan boy. I like their ROG boards, unfortunately for them they took too long putting the new ROG boards out so I bought the Gigabyte Z87X-UD4H. The gold ASUS boards look very ugly, personally I'd get the MSI Z87-GD65, this is the board I was going to get but chose the gigabyte based on looks.

When you're a company that makes good quality products at a price point that's better than your competitor's, people will buy your product. Simple as that. MSI is obviously doing it right
