MSI Z77A-G45 vs MPOWER

Hi,

In the next month i will need to choose mobo for my new PC, I decied to go for msi but now i just have a small problem i need to decide between two boards G45 is budget option MPOWER is hi-end

I do not have a lot of money right now so i would like to know if i will see the difference between two of them.

I am aiming to overclock i5 3570k to 4.5GHz.

Is it worth to pay twice the price for MPOWER board?

Mate you will be more then fine with the G45 one,
see my sig the 3570k is at 4500Mhz 24/7 F@H.....

The MPower isn't twice the price but still, as Ray said, the G45 will doo everything you want

So the difference between two of them only applies in clocks higher that 4.5GHz?

Other than that the MPOWER has more usb 3.0 ports, BT and wifi... and that's it?

well there's a bit more to it, with the MPOWER you might be able to reach 4,5GHz with lower volts than the G45 board for example.

But then again we're not talking about massive 5GHz-overclocks here and I would think that the differences between those two boards at 4,5GHz would be minimal.

For 4,5GHz I'd go for the G45 board =)
