It is really quiet. MSI did a great job with this GPU.

Not sure, some of the numbers look a bit iffy. Asus GTX980 Matrix beating a GTX980Ti in GTA V for example, very odd.
No overclocking results?
Can see price is added now. Thanks. I promise it was not there originally![]()
I reckon driver stability and game optimization played a bit role there. Probably. [Edit: The GTX 980Ti is stock. Aha..]
This is just the answer for so many people wanting to go 1440p, looking forwards to 4k in the future. Great work from AMD, MSI and OC3D. Strong par for the haters.

Problem is it still doesn't have the graphical horsepower to actually deal with 4K. Anyone buying one of these cards for 4K in future will find themselves upgrading long before the extra 4GB of VRam becomes really useful.
For 4K to become actually playable 60FPS+ with decent settings you'll need at least two of these (or infact any current) cards which means 4K is still a rich mans game, out of the reach of most users.
Nice review Tom, I hate to ask, but are we going to see some overclocking results? I was rather surprised that there weren't any.![]()
Indeed. I'm almost tempted to buy one, just got a refund on my bricked R9 290X a week ago.
