MSI Gaming R9 280X vs Sapphire Vapor-X 280X

I have settled on upgrading to an R9 280X, I am going to order it tonight, yet I really can't decide between the MSI Gaming and Sapphire Vapor-X editions (My TX 650 v2 doesn't have the balls for the toxic).

I was just wondering what you guys thought. Apparently the MSI card has issues with coil whine (but was fixed through a BIOS update?).

Are there any other models to consider?

My specs:
i5-3570k
Sabertooth Z77
16GB Corsair Vengence
TX 650 v2

Not heard of coil whine on the MSI cards but I own two Sapphire 7970's and whilst good cards the coolers are noisy on them where as MSI coolers tend to be quieter if you can take a bit of noise go Sapphire if quite then MSI

I read it on a couple of reviews, then googled it. Many people on forums seem to
have the problem, that's what put me off the MSI card so I went for the Sapphire.

I got a pretty good deal - £230 for it (from overclockers) with battlefield 4. It should arrive tomorrow - I can finally get rid of my faithful HD 4850!

(Sorry for the late response, I've had a pretty chaotic weekend)

Enjoy your new card, a couple of my mates have had there Sapphires for two years now and I've had my first one for awhile now and just bought a second and they seem like nice rock solid cards so you shouldn't have too much trouble with yours
