Ok need some input on this board. Thinking about getting it but dont know enough about it. Firstly please dont say go SB as this will be part of a trade for my Crosshair IV Formula. And its whats being offered. Just want ppls opinion if its a good enough X58 board to get my feet wet with. As if I do this my main rig will prolly be parted out to get the rest of the components.

was this mobo just not on anyone's list when it came out???? I've read some reviews on it doesn't seem all that bad, But just looking for anybody who might of had first hand experience with it or know someone who did. Also anything you might of read or heard would be nice. My only main issue with it and I know its not a major one is lack of Sata6Gb support. Seeing as I just alid down 240$ on 4 640GB sata6 drives lol. I know they havent reached the sata6 specs for speed yet but I see a difference over my SSD. Anywho please post positive or negative.

Why are you trading in the first place? Just want a different platform or? Your setup seems to be pretty intense from what I can see. BUT, in regards to the board itself, from what I can read about it, it apparently has some flaws with temperatures and cheap build quality in all. If you REALLY want to trade so bad, I'd trade, and get a different mobo.

well he's offering it and cash don't know how much cash yet as waiting on that reply. But in a way it would be to start the transition over to Inhell but looking at it again lol Ur right my current setup is basically top of AMD's food chain atm. And with this mobo being able to support Bulldozer ( I know without all the extra bells and whistles) it is somewhat upgradable still. But for now its about the only offer I have received thus far. Just wish some noob would offer me a GTX580 in trade

then it'd be a no brainer lol.

Yeah, it is a pretty nice little setup. I don't think the 1100 is worth it, so it's definitely top of the food chain

What are the reasons though behind swapping? Do you just want more power or something?

well its my spare board I have the extreme now so the formula is sitting here sayin "use me or lose me by"ch" and since I dont have a spare AMD cpu (or intel) laying around I figured I'd sell it lol.

Makes sense. I'd do whatever pleases you. From what it seems you want a nice new platform to fiddle with, it's a curse that some of us have. The only thing wrong with my PC is the HD and I'm replacing the whole thing

lol well look in the graphic card section this went a different route with another trader think its a better deal and keeps me AMD..

and ur right wanted another platform to fiddle with but this new deal make for some fun fiddling as well.

lol getting a Asus 4870x2 and a Corsair H70 for the trade instead of this MSI mobo That was part of the reason for not going this route as I'd have to buy a cpu and ram for it as well lol

I have only had one experience with MSI and that was a Diamond board at the time and it was the biggest piece of SH_T I ever spent my money on I never got a refund or a board from them to replace it. If you can go Gigabyte or Asus.
