Msi bios restricted or something?

Hi!
I got the MSI z77a-gd43 mobo.
I tried overclocking for the first time few months back, i got the cpu to 4.2ghz. After i tried 4.3ghz it booted into a black screen with text "A2" and blinking line (in lack of better word). I couldnt even acces the bios, i had to reset bios by connecting the jumppers.

I also couldn't change the vcore other than something like +0.002v, +0.004v and +0.006v or set it to auto.

I read on other forums, MSi official if i remember correctly, that it is "feature"
and the mobo isn't for overclockers, even tho it is advertised with good components good for overclocking. They said that I should had gone with higher end board.

Is there any way to bypass this somehow?

This is an entry level board mate as you have found out. Your overclocking success will be very limited and painful.
Only real option is to buy another board, although @4.2 you have enough power there for anything you can really throw at it. You main bottleneck if any would be the 560.

I know, but the board has what I need, on the paper at least, so i picked it instead of higher end versions.
And comparing to other brands like asus and asrock, they have fully unlocked vcore control on all z77 boards...

Its not that its unlocked dude, its just the board you bought isnt built for it.

Its not locked its just not designed to do much more than stock.

Well... That sucks then...
Still, is there anyway to get trough that 4.2ghz mark?
If i try to push pass that that blackscreen comes..
