MSI Afterburner (easy) Voltage unlocker...

http://www.mediafire.com/?chzic7824iwxnd4

I have a GTX470/460 in one rig an now the Voltage goes up (for both) to v1.4

I thought the beta could drive it upto 1.5??

Not sure if this is the case with a single card or of the same gpu chip,

i am using 2 rigs with mutiple GPU's and mixed GTX470's and GTX460's and with the 2 different GPU chips i can go up to v1.4 (with the voltage unlocker).

Ok that voltage unlocker is sweet!

My EVGA 570 would allow 1.1 but these cards can safely take a tinsy tiny bit more from what I've read.

Maybe its because mine are GTX580's but I didnt think it would make much of a difference (although 0.1 in voltage isnt much of a difference

Can't you take the voltage unlocker up to anything you like by editing te ini file?

Edit: Just checked and mine maxes out at 2.0V... Obviously didn't apply it.

I take it you moved both the MSIAfterburnerVoltUnlock.exe and the MSIAfterburnerVoltUnlock.ini files to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI Afterburner (or equivalent on your PC)

In the MSIAfterburnerVoltUnlock.ini, open it with notepad and change the txt below that I make bold

; MSI Afterburner Max Voltage Unlocker

; by AgentGOD

; Donation : http://www.ultimate-filez.com/?page=donate

; NOTE: you should carefully read the readme file before using this program

; Specify your desired maximum voltage here in mV (millivolts)

[Afterburner]

; a very conservative default max of 1.4v has been used here for safety

NewMaxVoltage=1400

; default max boost voltage is set to +500 mV for safety

NewMaxBoostVoltage=500

I have tried that and it is looks like this:

but i cannot run it.

Ok got it, I had to run as administrator.thanks

So you can now up the 1400 to whatever you like... Well when I entered 3000, the Afterburner still topped out at 2v.
