I got this mobo, and I am thinking of getting a 16GB kit of Corsair Vengeance, but it looks like the slots are really close to the socket and I'm worried the cooler won't clear the bloody tall heatsyncs on the Vengeance. Anyone with this mobo that can confirm there is enough room? Worst case scenario, I'm thinking of just getting rid of the syncs that don't clear, I assume the modules aren't getting that hot anyway. Would that be smart or should I just look for a lower profile kit? Cheers.

We'll the RAM won't get in the way of the socket that would just be a massive epic fail if it did.

Judging by these JPEG's of fractal 3000 (google)

H100 will never fit in there unless you make case mods but something like h60 - h80 will be fine.

Here is an idea of what kind of mods need to be done... Lucky for me Tom posted a video of something like this a few days ago.

True, I was actually thinking about the 80, not the 100. And I'm not talking about the RAM getting in the way of the socket, I am saying that the slots are close to the socket and because the normal Vengeance modules have those tall heat syncs, I was worried that the cooler would hit them. Problem solved by Corsair, they invented the LP (low profile) Vengeance kit.
