Yep, the Mozilla Corporation has released the latest version of the ever popular FireFox browser. Who's going to be making the transition, or do you not see enough extra features to warrant it? Feel free to discuss below...

Downloading now! Maybe it's faster than the previous version... I like Safari because it loads almost instantaneously, FireFox takes a few seconds when first opened. I know, that sounded pathetic, I can't wait a few seconds, how impatient, rofl.

Well I'm on the new FF now, and I like the new user interface tweaks, it looks a bit better and it's a bit more responsive for me now. I think I'll continue using it for a while and see how I get along with it. Maybe a replacement for Safari at long last? Doubtful, but we'll see!

i like how they included things that i used to have to get an extension to utilise. for example, pages default open into new tabs, rather than new windows.

Advert: "is todays fast pased live making you short temprered and impatient?"

Bender / fragtek: "SHUT UP AND GET TO THE POINT!"

i like all the features BUT check the mem usage. looks like its gonna be a while before they tackle that problem :( and yea, i too am annoyed that my themes dont work

Noia works and looks much nicer than on previoius versions :)

I quite like it. They made a few little tweeks in the looks department that came out rather nice. I actually can't really find anything to criticize about it. The only thing I could say is I think the reload and back buttons are somewhat of a funny color but I will most likely get used to them in time.

Actually, I quite like it myself. It's a bit awesome. I've noticed the reload icon looks a little sketchy, but if I cared enough I could actually edit it myself. The close tab box on each tab is also a little sketchy, but either way I like it.

I just installed it, but it looks good and seems to respond well, the only thing I don't like is the little graphic that pops up momentarily when you start it.

I never take note of the standard looks of FF as I always skin it
Ditto, FF is very bland without the skins imo. Noia looks gorgeous! I love this release, the additional features are worth the upgrade. Unfortunately the extensions I used to use, haven't been updated as yet.

I don't honestly think that firefox takes up too much memory - with 8 tabs in one window, 4 in another & using its inbuilt download manager - 138mb of memory. Much less than doing the same in internet explorer & a third party download manager :)
