Mozilla plans to integrate "Have I Been Pwned" into their Firefox web browser

Pretty neat but not something I really would just stop using chrome for. Change your password often and activate 2 facor authentication is the best way to stay safe... Outside a VPN of course

Even on a VPN (like I am) I STILL activate 2FA on everything that I use frequently so long as it has it (most things nowadays do).

I can deal with my phone prompting me for the code details every single time I go on certain websites (like my bank / amazon / ebay / etc). I'll happily deal with a code that takes me all of 5 seconds to type in rather then deal with having my account messed with or anything like that.

Then again I've run into the whole "your account has been compromised" quite a few times before 2FA really was a thing and I used it....so now I don't even risk not using it. I've got it turned on for just about everything I use except for like reddit....cuz duh no actual info is on there.
