im really looking forward to bd now

If that Cinebench is legit then that 8 core BD chip @ 4.83ghz is slower than a 2500k at 4.5ghz which seen as the BD has 8 cores is pretty underwhelming.

Even that Super PI bench @ 5.07ghz is slower than a 2500k @ 4.5ghz the BD is between 10 and 19 the 2500K is 08.491.

8 cores is a good idea isn't it? I'll be honest i've no idea why 8 is better than 6. No doubt in 3/4 years 12core will be 'run of the mill' lol

8 cores is a good idea but if it can't beat 4 cores with a 500mhz higher clock speed then sorry but that is pretty shite if you ask me.

Just another AMD fail on the cards then, if its not even beating the 2500k Im going to have a wonderful time testing these :/

I just dont get how AMD can be intels bitch for so many years and allow them to be crushed in the market.

if i was AMD, i'd pull something out and fast.

I re-ran those benches @ 4.7ghz didn't want to go any higher because of voltage.

I reckon 5ghz with a 2500k would be around 6.00s for Super PI and around 8 points and rank 3 for Cinebench. Are you even trying AMD and remember this is 8 cores vs 4.

was just thinking that has to be fake or a really old sample because the dude only has 100 suscribers... they would have sent it to someone big like Linus or TTL or even Motherboards.org

nearly 5ghz is bloody great!?! lol

what are you guys seeing that i'm not!? I would imagine TTL will get some BD's soon enough then we all know where we stand. If they fail, i'm going back to intel setup.

I'm going to be honest, I didn't expect AMD to be beating the 2600K by much, but if this is true, Intel are going to be laughing all the way to the bank.

what you have all missed is the fact that the BD chip in question was run on an AM3+ mobo

severely hampering it

i warned you before - wait for AM4

That is also depending on if this video is fake cause wouldnt he not be allowed to publish any figures until AMD says. And all the big companies still havnt got one so why would one small person get one?

? 4

Gigabyte are releasing FM1 boards are they not AM4?

ok so how long should we expect to wait for ANOTHER upgrade lol

amd evolution...

amd64== ddr (single channel)=== 8gb max

am2==== ddr2 (dual channel)==== 16gb max

am3==== ddr3 (triple channel)== 32gb max

can you see a pattern ??? - lol

am4==== ddr4 (quad channel)==== 64gb max

full BD be able to access 128gb page spaces (128DDR4 on servers)

FM1 is the llano APU

i am talking about the successor to the 990FX chipsets

oh christ doug your talking about a complete mobo,cpu andRAM update aren't you(groan)

I start thinking about updating then realise it's just going to be a hassle isn't it. Like buying a new car and it being devalued as soon as you drive it off the shopfloor
