Can't believe I missed this originally.

It's an awesome idea sinking into the desk. I'd like a variation of that myself.

I'd probably go down the mobo-tray road, like the idea of running the harddrives and stuff on other levels tho.

Thing with a tray, I spose u could make it so u could take it out and put in a case for a lan.

I did this last christmas for the Mrs but built it into the drawer so you couldn't even see it (all on air). Worked ok apart from the warming wood smell when left to encoding movies so she now has a 900 case instead. Was good when used for low level stuff though.
