Here's what i've managed today:

Hmmm looking good, nice big holes in the mesh. The rad will probably need holes behind it though, or air will be forced through at the cost of silence and air pressure.

Airs getting sucked at the moment. But i'll eventually cut through to the mobo and have it flow through.

Maybe he built a wooden case with an integrated desk? I'm trying to work out if it would be terrible or terribly awesome for a lan party. I'm going with terrible, unless you have a white van and your friend has a huge room.

Haha, i wouldn't use this computer for LANing.

And i did it because i was board with cases, plus they cost stupid amounts for good ones. This cost me less that £30... haha.

You know if you spilled like juice on your desk would the fans on the front not suck it in and blow it all over everything? Just a thought as i was really of thinking of doing something similar...

Im gonna make something very similar to this now, just been rummaging through all the rigs galleries. This is a great idea and cheap, a good way to get your pc quiet too.

However, there are flaws which I shall address.

- Everything will be in the one draw.

- The draw will be removable (for lan's)

- The air will come in from the side so when im sitting in front my nuts dont get cold.

I cannot believe I missed this thread. What an amazing outcome. Very impressive.

I will post pics when done, but won't be for a while. Got to plan stuff first. Should be easy enough though.

I don't have drawers in my desk so am building a housing underneath, the hardest bit will be cutting the holes for the optical drives and getting them flush with the top of the desk. And positioning them of course. Don't want them underneath my keyboard!

I've seen a similar mod where the guy used a car radiator to cool the pc and had it mounted on the side of the desk
