Phew! Just finished putting this all together inside a Lian Li A05b. Have to say i'm impressed with Lian Li's craftsmanship. This case feels and looks alot better than my 900.

I <3 Macro :yumyum:

Great pics m8. U can see the LL quality.

Always feel guilty sticking stuff in small cases myself, even tho I like them. Get paranoid about heat to >.<

Decent cabling job, I dont think ur small enough to experience heat issues.

O_o.

The fan won't do a very good job if the fan stuck on the case isn't faster.

I hope you understand what I mean 'cos I can't make much sense of it myself.

Yeah if the rear fan isnt able to cope with the flow thrown at it, it'll just circulate around the case.

A good approach may be to take the rear case fan out and diy a vent from the cpu fans to the rear-fan's grill-space.

Be a little concerned about other intakes then tho.

Maybe, as u point out, just be sure the flow from the rear fan is that much greater.

Didn't really understand the previous posts :p. If you was talking about how the CPU fan is facing the wrong way cuz the a05's rear fan is the intake then ok..

Nice rig though :D

oo i must say when i fist built my first computer i didn't really like lan li as their cases looks plain and expensive, but now i really want one lol, but i think i stick with my antec 900 for a while.

hehe no.

The thing is about expelling warm air. U have 2x fans on the cpu throwing air at a certain rate, then u have a rear fan throwing out at another rate. IF the rear fan is a slower rate than the 2x cpu fans, alot of the air will just stay in the case.

What software are you using for it? I just got a TV Tuner for my PC and don't know if I should use the included or go with something else :)

i've currently been using mediaportal (mediaportal) but i'm seriously thinking of starting to code my own, it's just i know it's going to be a massive task!

Currently i'm a bit stuck as I don't have a full OS that supports blu-ray. I'm using Windows 7 6801 at the moment with Cyberlink's PowerDVD that came with my blu-ray drive. I've only got Hanc0ck (stupid swear filter ¬_¬) on teh blu and so far it's working perfectly. Picture is incredible and it sucks to go back to normal Sky+ afterwards.

i've been looking at upgrading my htpc for HD content, Wanted to go down the dell studio hybrid route with the blu ray drive, but from what i read it doesnt handle it very well.

There's rumours the mac mini will be getting an update at macworld, i'll see what happens! (hoping they'll update the gfx and add a blu ray drive.) Doubt it though!

Snapstream BeyondTV is the ONLY Freeview option I know of. ALL the rest are pants. It can take HDTV, freeview, cable, satellite tuners of all formats (USB, PCI, PCIe). As for BlueRay Cyberlink can be command line controlled with iMon stuff so it just works without stupid fiddling.

Costs to get this stuff but once you have it, it works perfectly.
