So i decided to do the fairly common grill removal on the front of my 650D today, but didnt have a jigsaw to hand. I ended up drilling along the holes as can be seen here

After:

Used some old coloured watercooling tubing to smarten up the edges and removed a 5mm strip so the circumference didn't hit up hard against the fan.

Not bad if i do say so myself  The front dust grill still ruins the airflow considerably and drops the gpu temps by 4C when it off.

Should i do this to the rear one also as the exhaust seems pretty poor?

Cheers

Tom

Haha, looks similar to what I did with my old 600t - I cut the mesh out with tin snips. It's all hidden so I didn't care!

I did the same to mine, between the air filter and the metal mesh there was too much resistance for the front fan. Good work!
