Hi,
The mobo that I plan to get:
EVGA 132-CK-NF79-A1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 790i Ultra SLI DDR3 ATX Intel Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16813188025
says that its memory standard is DDR3 1333, 1800(OC), 2000(OC). The memory that I was planning on getting is:
CORSAIR XMS3 DHX 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
http://www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16820145200
Since this memory is rated at 1600, does that mean it wouldn't work for this mobo? I just figured the memory could be overclocked to work or something. Is this the case? Does anyone know if I will run into weird issues when I put the two of these together? Will this work 'out of the box' or will I need to mess with it by ocing before it will work properly? I'd really appreciate any advice on this. Thanks
