Should see the graphics in solitaire! AWESOME ;-)

Nice rig, planning to do any overclocking at all?

I think you're going to have problems with that DVD burner though, mine didn't even last 2 months and I only burnt 6 DVDs with it :( and my dad had the same one.. they broke within days of each other! We bought them at the same time. Bad batch or bad drives? Mhmm!

Bad drives.

I've owned a Samsung drive which broken, I took it back to the store and got a refund. The second one I owned broke in about a week. Took it back to the store and swapped it in for an LG DVD drive. Its been perfect since.

I'm always sceptical of Samsung products ever since that experience.

Nice clean rig mate...well on the outside anyway. Any chances of an internal shot or two please? And you're going to be clocking that Q9550 too aren't you? ;)

That's a nice build, especially the case, but you should have gotten a better HDD, like the Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 750 GB, a lot better than what you already have.

I thought the memory fans would be an issue and constrict the cpu fan but i'm getting good temps and stability at 3.3Ghz

thanks guys, Sorry i've not replied sooned but i was in Spain for a week! (i really missed my baby lol)

No squeaking from my x2 mate sorry :-(

p.s i came home and warhead was sitting on my doormat waitning for me ;-)

I dunno what i can tell you mate, It looks great and is sound proofed as std. If you live in Scotlnd you are more than welcome to come look at it

Sadly I'm in the netherlands :P How is your case temperature? I will probably be running a comparable rig in it (i7 w/ 4870 custom cooled if that card is still up to date then).

And do you hear the fans when on low / med / high? Is it hard to reach for the back fan switches? Since that looks like a pain in the arse to me.

Sorry for all the questions ^^

Temp is ok, i upgraded to 2 amber fans for a bit better cooling. Fans are ok, you can hear them but not too bad. The hd4870x2 is DAMM noisey tho!

Fan switches are a pain in the ass tho :-(

Some more pics from today when i installed my old hdd
