Overclocking Issues (possibly PSU)

Hi all,

I have a strange issue with my system since I brought it from aria.

at first I thought that it was the system board - and have RMA'd it twice - ARIA have tested and found no fault.

I've been playing with the over-clocking settings trying to get it to work properly at 4.4GHz.

System Specs below:

CPU / Processor:

Intel® Core™ i3-550 Processor

CPU Cooler

Coolermaster Hyper TX3 CPU Cooler

Motherboard:

GA-H55M-UD2H v1.3 F11 Bios

Memory:

4GB Mushkin (2x2GB) DDR3 1333MHz 9-9-9-24 Silverline

Hard Drive(s):

Samsung HD753LJ 750GB & Samsung HD103SJ Spinpoint F3 1TB

Graphics:

EVGA GeForce GTX 460 SuperClocked 1024MB EE (External Exhaust)

OS:

Windows 7 64bit

Case:

NZXT Beta EVO

Power Supply:

520W Antec High Current Gamer HCG-520 ATX2.3

The problem I've got is that I can only get the system over-clocked to 4.4HGz without a G/Card in the pci slot as you can see below :

The most I can overclock with the G/Card installed is 3.6Ghz :

When I try with the g/card installed - my p.c. just won't boot up - the fans start - but that's about it.

I think it may be that the PSU (Antec 520W) isn't powerful enough - has anyone got any-more suggestions??

psu or what's called a HT on amd systems, not sure what it is on intel, but the thinkg that sends communications between the gpu and cpu being unstable, try to lower that and if you still get instability i would put money on it being the psu, i am almost certain it's the psu bt it's always worth having a look before you do anything rash!
