mid-tower case, can not decide

Hi all,

I'm looking into a getting a new case as I have updated to Ivy bridge and my current HAF 912 Plus is beginning to fall apart.

Few things I would like:

Front mounted I/O, I use the computer system on desk so I don't like it on top.

USB 3 on the front, my 912 Plus does not have USB 3 and I have a header so I can use it now :D

I have ordered a H100i so I need it to support it. Its not a massive problem if I have to fiddle, however my motherboard has a large heatsink at the top so it needs to fit easily.

The HAF may have aggressive styling but its not a requirement. I don't mind any styling, however I want it to be Black.

100 pounds is around how much I'd like to spend,

thanks for any help

The only case with that budget and specs that pops in my mind right now is the Corsair Carbide 500R. It has USB 3.0, front I/O (Though it is at the far top of the front) and radiator support.

Other than that, maybe a 650D, which is a bit more expensive and has the same front I/O "issue".

Which would you guys choose, the C70 or the 500R? i like the styling of both in black (or gunmetal) so its more whats better for cooling as both fit the h100i.

I think the C70 might cool a bit better, 'cause of the extra set of fans on the HDD cages. I personally like the looks of the 500R a lot more, though with the C70 you get a fancy window to show off your colour coördinated build ;)

I'm a big fan of Lian Lis cases, but they are usually higher-priced, but mayby there is one you like.

Fractal R4?
