microstuttering

Bit more info needed tbh as its not realy a 1 answer fix all kinda thing, what are you graphics card(s), driver version ect

Lemme guess, AMD card? Lots of complaints of microstuttering with AMD cards lately especially when running Crossfire. Its a driver issue.

its a new thing, or its old and i just noticed it now. i guess it could be the drivers, i have shut crossfire off, but that didnt help. i have dual 7870s with the newest driver.

latest CAP's?
When you say latest driver - the beta or the WHQL?
Either way uninstall, run Driversweeper in safe mode then re-install drivers.

ill try that once i get some internet coming my way, its downloading a 48 bytes/sec. off topic, anyone know how to get netflix to stop taking up all the internet traffic?

What game are you trying to run? And what are your settings? Are you sure its micro stuttering or your card just cant handle it? Also what CPU do you have and how much RAM?

Arma2, tried all sorts of settings. i used furmark and 3dmark11 too. i get a stutter about every second. unless i turn AA on then it goes down to like 20fps. but itll show 80fps on-screen.

Ok I will grab a copy of Arma II will let you know if its the same on my end as I have the same card. Something I did notice though I went from win8 back to win7 and Win8 seems to be a little more micro stutter friendly..
