Hi, i want to go back to intel, and I'm trying to figure out whats the best CPU to get just now on the Intel side.
This PC is for gaming and light 3d work and everything else?

I was on b450 then I moved to B550, and on both platforms, I was having issues with the ports randomly locks up. I had intel cpu before b450, and that had 0 issue. I am fed up with my system so I'm going back to Intel, but I am bit stuck in what CPU to get if I recall, the latest ones have an issue,e so I'm a bit stuck. Ever since had a system I have played with the issue. Can some help in the intel CPU?

I was recently on a B550 Tomahawk with zero issues with I'm assuming it was usb ports you were having issues with? Maybe it was more to do with your board manufacturer rather than the platform itself, but anyhow if you want to go back to Intel mabe think about a Core Ultra 265K, I wouldn't touch the 12 or 13 series.

That is true but not with two serpite boards so this why I'm going back to intel. so the Core Ultra 265K. what socket do you think is best?

Just wondering is amd cheaper or is the same prince ? I may try and 5 then but I don't know what CPU to buy ?
Not sure where you are mate, as far as costing goes, but I'm personally now running an AMD 9600X and it's great, if you want the best though and can afford it get the 9800X3D, just pair it with a B850 board that offers what you need with connectivity, looks, ETC and go from there. Get some 6000 CAS 30 ram just make sure that whatever capacity you want that you do it via two sticks as AM5 doesn't really like running four sticks.
