Heya guys,

So when I booted into Windows this morning, it auto started Skype, but instead of logging in I got a message that someone else had tried to acces my account and I needed to change my pass.

Now first of all I highly doubt anyone would want to acces my Hotmail account cause there's nothing interesting on there but oh well. I had an email with a code sent to my alt email adress. Pasted that code into the Skype window and then I got the option to change my pass.

Here is why I'm annoyed: I can no longer log into Skype on my phone. It just keeps trying to log in, but it can't because the pass has changed. I have no option to manual log in. I have re-installed the app but it does the same (Running Android).

Tried to play GTA IV for a bit but I couldn't acces my savegames cause I couldn't log in to my Games for Windows Live account. Not with the old, nor the new password.

I've tried to find a solution on the Microsoft website, but their support is actually horrible and I didn't find any option where I could message an actual employee that knows his shit, but they keep refering me to their forums instead.

Much rather post here. If anyone has a solution, pleeeeease let me know cause I'm really annoyed right now.

PS Can't change my password back to my old one. You cannot re-use passwords -.-
Edit; When I go to xbox.com it still auto logs me in @_@'

Clear your cache and saved passwords. Also on Android you should be able to go into the app manager and clear data.

Your games for windows live should update with the new password, mine did recently, so you must have typed something in wrong.

If you have the same password for other accounts then this is how they might have got your password.

Nah, I'm not that interesting I really think it was just me accesing my own account from some place else and Microsoft assumed my account was being hacked.

Tried to log in 3-4 times on Games for Windows Live. Pretty sure I didn't type it wrong every single time. Thanks on the phone advice though, I forgot to clear the data after removing the app

For GFWL I was having an issue logging in and I was sure I was entering the correct password. All I had to was uninstall and re-install Windows Live ID Sign-in Assistant to get it working.

Okay, so I just tried again. Didn't work. Clicked 'Forgot password', had a confirmation link sent to my alt email, clicked that, tried to 'change' to the current and the old pass but it wouldn't let me. I was all like 'Ef this' and closed the window, went back into GTA IV, angrily pressed log in and it logged me in ._.

Oh well, at least my issue is fixed. Thanks guys!
