Memory Problem

I have 4GB of mushkin redline ridgeback and before I was getting blue screens so I manually set the timings, speed and voltage and everything was fine for a little while and then I started to get more blue screens so I thought I'd run some tests and I received errors on MemTest86+ 4.20 while testing both sticks at once, and then I tested one stick for 1 hour with no error and 3 passes then the same for the other stick and no errors and 3 passes so I was confused why I got the blue screens and but I noticed that one stick was reading 1333 MHz in the bios with the 9-9-9-27 timings and the other stick reading 1600 MHz at 6-8-6-24 so I thought I'd use 1 stick and I contacted aria and they told me to request an RMA number so I did.

Now that I have my RMA number I checked both sticks again and now both read 1333 MHz this time so I manually set it to 1600 MHz with 6-8-6-24 for the time being.

What I want to know is if anyone has any suggestions with the blue screens I was receiving before I actually decide to RMA it because I don't want to RMA it and have no computer to use and then for Aria to test it and find out there's nothing wrong and it costs me money.

Edit: I did have the RAM in slots 1 and 3 and not 2 and 4 as the manual stated but I've moved it now.
 
If you can't set the XMP profile to what its meant to be, set DRAM voltage to 1.65v, then adjust frequency to DDR3-1600, then manually adjust the timings to 6-8-6-24.

Are the sticks these ones?

Yep this are the sticks and I did that originally and still have it set up that way.
 
Since you moved them do they still have the same issue with the blue screen?

Not sure if it would help but maybe resetting the RTC RAM (if you have the ASUS motherboard its putting the jumper cap over 2&3 for 5-10seconds then replacing it back on 1&2 then trying it again.

Not had it in the 2nd and 4th ram slot for long so still need to wait and see and also I tried doing that with the jumper, even trying the MemOK! button and it came back positive. Just want to be completely sure if I go and RMA it.
 
Maybe update the BIOS? I haven't noticed many people complaining of the same thing. Is it just one stick that is at the wrong speeds, if you switch the sticks around is it the 2nd one (in highest number slot) that is the wrong frequency, or does the issue stay with the same stick...

At first it was 1 stick at the wrong speed but now it's detecting both at the wrong speed and this is with each stick in on it's own and together, it may be my BIOS, If I get further blue screens I'll try updating the BIOS and then if it still occurs then an RMA.
 
Yeah definitely, the stock fans were loud and had poor airflow, now I have one Noctua as intake, 3 as exhaust, with another 200mm CoolerMaster Fan as the front intake.

Sometimes you get decent stock fans, but the ones that I got may have been decent, but for me they were just too loud.
