Memory chart questions

I was looking at some RAM on Newegg and noticed that the same model of DDR3 2400 was cheaper than DDR3 2133.

2400 vs 2133

So I decided to compare them on PassMark's website

2400 and 2133

The last chart at the bottom of each PassMark page is what confused me. Does anyone have any thoughts on why there is such a wide discrepancy for the 2400?

Thanks

The 2133MHz Modules have a lower Cas Latency which means faster cycles, which gives it better performance over the 2400MHz modules.

Okay, I figured a latency of 23ns vs 22ns (As per PassMark) made sense.

But one of the measured latency's was 55ns...??? could it be that those were configured wrong in the BIOS?

With memory it could be a multitude of things, Bios, Drivers, Settings even down to the benchmark rig used and it's native memory controller limitations.

Also, if its just a gaming rig, dont mind the ram specs too much, because there is not a huge difference between say 2133 and 2400.

I was just curious because the 2133 looks fairly consistent on its baseline scores while the 2400 is all over the place.

Thanks for the insight guys.
