Member notice - Use of MSN Messenger

It has come to my attention that there has been some negative contact from some of our members to others via MSN.

This is especially common to our Mods and Admin.

Our members put their MSN ID's on their profiles with a hope to make Overclock3d a great community to be a member of.

I myself have helped and continue to help many members with various PC issues. This was time consuming but I enjoy helping people and feel that if I can offer help/advice then I will do.

However: Negative contact and/or abuse over MSN is not something we will permit and this will be treated very seriously.

Miss-communications can frequently occur on IRC/MSN and on forums. All of our members are friendly and I would not like to see the community spirit changed by occurances such as this.

Help our forum to be a friendly - be MSN friendly

Ya know, a lot of incidents have been happening lately. The review fraud, the MSN stuff.. and suprisingly, I'm not the cause. This is.. cool!

I'm sorry to hear about that! It's nice that you guys allow people to contact you via MSN for help etc. Shame on the select few idiots who abuse this...

someone contacted a manufacture in an attempt to get reviewsamples and keep them.

i dont know the entire story but the attempt failed and thats the end of the story.

Well I aint been on much and the site is as friendly as I think u can make these things...personally a few of the lads on here have MSNd me to advise on my watercooling setup....thanks to you....you will be noted in my despatches....as soon as the prject begins I will post pics of progress!
