Loss and Support Thread

Dude TBH I think you need to seek some professional help as the trauma is affecting your health both mentally and physically as it has symptoms like PTSD and i really think that if you can talk firstly to your local doctor, if you can trust him that is and see if he can recommend either a councilor or even a psychiatrist for you or as you have served and thankyou for that, you can also seek help through the military support services of Britain.
Don't put it off either and as hard as it is not to don't let embarrassment stop you either as you've been able to open up here it seems to me that you are ready to try and heal yourself.
And remember you haven't done anything wrong also it sounds like your latest wife is good so talk to her too even if not all of it just start with something as she will support you through this I'm sure.
I hope this helps you to move in the right direction and please don't put it off get the help you need and deserve.

I can't possibly imagine what you've been through, you must be an amazingly strong person to have been through all that stuff and come out the other side. I just want you to know that I'm thinking about you.

Yeah, please don't take my silence as the fact I have ignored it. I just can't even begin to fathom how bad that must have been for you.

Definitely makes me think very deeply though. When my father died and I got ran over within a year I used to complain (I was in a lot of pain) and she would always say "There is some one out there worse off that you". Never really let that compute until I read that post. It's funny how karma gets you really.
