Member names with a plus next to them

I have noticed a couple of members with a plus next to their name in the member list. What does that actually mean?

I thought that but when you hover over the name it turns white but the plus doesn't.

It all turns white on my browser when hovering, using firefox.

I noticed that once, it might have to do with the person in question being a mod or an admin, not sure though.

I noticed it on Dicehunter's name in the list but doesn't show on his name in posts.

Idk man, I checked a couple of people that had the plus, join dates are random, one checked had 800ish posts so not even oc3d elite, and 2 of the ones I noticed I dont recall them being admins, I dont know man, I cant join the dots

I always kinda assumed it had something to with the people you had in your friends list, but tbh I have no clue if that's correct.

That actually makes sense, I do have him in my list. I think you are correct.

EDIT: Just added you as a friend and the plus appeared so yeah, that's what it is. What you do with the request is up to you

The only reason it was short was because our friendship was so great and all the mischief we did together made the time fly by. 10 year friendship seemed like 5mins.
