So originally i wanted to go for the Asus Mazimus IV Extreme but i heard alot of good things about the Sabertooth so i wanted to ask the community wich they would get and also if they would get the 2500k or the 2600k

The 2500k is probably going to be sugested but i'd like to go with the 2600k if it is better (You get the point

EDIT: i'll go with the 2500k since it is soooo much cheaper

Only real difference between the 2500k and 2600k is Hyperthreading. 2500k has 4 cores/4 threads, 2600k has 4 cores/8 threads.

In layman's terms, unless you're doing video encoding/3D rendering, go for the 2500k. If you are encoding, the 2600k will do it faster.

As for the boards, can't speak for those.

I'd go sabertooth and 2600K if I had the funds. Then again if I had the funds I'd also have a killer 1366 rig

Yeah, I have the Sabertooth myself with a 2500k and I sit at a safe 60 degrees when gaming at 4.6Ghz. In regards to the motherboard, I find the Maximus board for the P67 pretty useless in terms of price to performance. I think the Gigabyte UD7 is a bit cheaper and is basically the same board. It also depends on the GPU you get, considering whether it goes 3-way or not. If not, then I'd definitely just get the Sabertooth. It's a pretty good board especially for the price.

Using the D14? Because then i might reconsider

I am leaning towards the Dark Rock Pro

If you want top notch mobo, gigabyte z68x-ud7 with nf200 chip for later sli options. Its 2nd to none in quality.

But if you only go with single gpu,the sabertooth is the best mobo. And the noctua nh-d14 would look better on it.

I think i will go sabertooth but still i cannot decide and there are maybe 14 days until i start ordering my parts

With the armor on, the board gets hotter without the 50mm fan O.o can anyone tell me what CFM the included fan has? xD
