Mandrake 10.1 booting problem

ok guys i just installed Mandrake 10.1. when i boot to mandrake it says loading ( something like that) and afterwards it stops with a new screen with a mandrake logo at the bottom and the mouse pointer. and nothing happens more. any ideas???

Sounds like it might be running into a compatibility issue during the load sequence. Try a different release of linux, check out Fedora Core.

i think it's resolved found out the cd i was using for the instalation was wrong and during insalation it gave me 2 errors and i didn't think they were important. i guess that was the prob. retrying
