Maintenance, Fittings, Tubes, Liquid/Coolant and maybe Res, Pumps(&tops)

Not a bad idea to wash the radiators through with distilled water. Make sure you start with hot/boiled water first then move on to distilled. Although i have my doubts about it being worthwhile buying some distilled water just for this job. (most have the distilled to use as their coolant)
5L distilled water is only £5, not that big of a deal really

My preference on the pump top would be the koolance integrated unit. I'm looking at moving to a similarly styled unit with my D5.
Yeah, I like that one too, good thing I saw it the last time I looked at the alphacool top.
My problem is that which tube res goes with it? without using a male2male to connect the top and res together?

Why mix 1/2" barbs and 7/16" compression fittings? All the fittings should work together with the tubing, it just seems odd to mix the two types. Also 2x ball valves seems odd as i thought this was for a drain?
About the barbs, I had a plan for those compression fittings but I cant exactly remember where I was going to put them now. But I did include it for a reason and it most probably going to be behind the pump anyway so its not a big deal for the looks.

Yeah so, two problems.
1. What tube res goes with the Koolance pump top without the use of male to male fitting?
2. That pump, is that the right D5 or is there a better one? Link it please
I preferably want the same pump as our Guv'nor used for his amazing Orca build.

That D5 vario is the same. It'll be exactly the same as my XSPC branded D5 vario. (They are all made by laing

The koolance top takes any one of their 60mm X ***mm reservoirs. Like this one. You will also need the fill port top cover for it which i believe is this.

Also note that the koolance top you linked to has been replaced by a Rev 2 version.
