Right I've put this here because I wasn't sure where to put it but last night a I had a crazy idea regarding how mainboards are made.
Lot of custom builders these days want tidy, minimal cabling and I thought, what's stopping mainboard manufacturers putting connectors on the back of the mainboard, working with case manufacturers so the mainboard tray is mostly open.
I don't mean the CPU, RAM or PCI slots just connectors like 20pin, 12v ATX SATA etc. That way almost all of the cabling will be in the cable tray behind the mainboard.
