MACH II GT evap temps. -49C - BIOS temps -21C - PCprobe desktop 15C

I know the evap temps are aobut 20 deg. off, but what progy can

can be used to read the real CPU temps?

MOBO is an ASUS A8n32-SLI Deluxe

MOBO temps. 43C

Or do i have to attach a sensor directly to the CPU?

I`d take the BIOS temp as more or less accurate. Try Speedfan for in-windows monitoring :)

Ignore the LCD display totally, it just gived impressive-looking numbers.

You'll definitely get the best reading by sticking your own probe in there- it's always nice to know what the actual temperature is. You can just stick one close to the processor, on the block - it'll give you a better reading than those other means. :)

Yea, a temp sensor is a def a good thing. No more worries about what the actual temp is then

Yeah bios is perdy accurate MBM is what I use then occt for testing under stress testing

But as above if you can get a temp probe close to your core that would be even better :D
