Mach II Coolant Fault

My rig just shut itself down and said on the display cooling fault and now its counting down from 2500 sec any ideas why?

I was playing Serious Sam?

With an R507 regas you need to have the fans running just below turbo if not turbo did you have your fans on low or normal??

Intersting point there fatty mate - is it safe to assume that the unit overheated and needs time to cool down?

Or is it broke?

Could be either realy until he restarts it its unclear but if I leave my fans on low with a high clock my unit will shut down as well

I think there should be something somewhere about the regasses as many people are getting them done now. I havn't got my unit back yet but I have 240v fans on mine so have no choice but to run them at full whack, then again I am using a much larger compressor in mine.

We need to outline the facts that the compressors are going to run hotter and will need fans on Turbo to be safest for a GT regass.

Well when the timer counted down everything fired up OK.

My room was very warm last night i was using my rig for work most of the day and then spent a couple of hours playing games just before it shut down, i had my case fans on low but the Mach II has no fan controller so i thought it ran flat out all the time?

you have to load the '123' software onto windows - this allows you to control the fan speeds.

I set mine to 1900 rear speed with 1550 front speed - but when fully overclocked for benching I turn em both to TURBO.

To check the compressor temps is easy - just place your hand on the side panel - if it's more than warm to the touch, the fans need to go faster.

A mach will start at high then once the pc boots it will stick the fans on normal you need to load control center and set them higher you only need to do this once and they will stay there unless you get corrupt firmware etc
