quite simple is this MB any good please dont say about other boards that are batter unless they are same price or less. and would i be able to OC memory to 1600Mhz.

Its a good budget board features SATA 6Gb/s & USB 3. Core Unlocker so if you use a dual-core or triple-core Phenom II BE and unlock it to a quad-core. Yes you should be ok.

you can clock memory to 1600mhz on any board, it doesnt make it good.. but yeah its decent for a sub £100 board

I'd rather get one of M4A89 PRO's. According to ASUS, they will support AM3+ chips with a BIOS update.

I have m4a89gtd pro. I was able to get 1600mhz (7-7-7-24) and 1800mhz (9-9-9-24) on the same set of sticks.

i just wondered as i read somewhere that AMD cpu's only support 1333 and i got some 1600 ram i know it would work at 1333 but whats the point in having 1600 capable ram if you dont use it!

thanks i have now purchased the board it seems better than the Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3 870 as it has a heatsink on the mosfets and the reviews was better.
