Low Budget ROG OC Build Help

I'm considering building a low budget overclocked ROG gaming system and wanted to get some input on the specs, cooling, and overclocking potential.

Specs
CPU - i5-3570k with Corsair H100i
MB - Asus Maximus V Gene
RAM - Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3 1600 ( 2 x 8 )
GPU - EVGA Superclocked GTX 660 2GB
PSU - EVGA SuperNova Gold 650w
Case - Fractal Design Arc Mini Black
Fans - 5 x Corsair Air SP120 High Performance

I want to OC the CPU @ 4.5ghz and just want to make sure I have enough airflow and power to achieve this safely. I'm trying to keep the theme red and black as well.

Also, I'm new to OCing so please be constructive with comments. We all start somewhere.

welcome to the OC3D forums, first off...

low budget and ROG... hummmmm

to shave some cost.. 8GB instead of 16GB RAM
HD7850 or GTX 660 over the 660 TI
push or pull on H100, push/pull not needed and can foul RAM heatsink (i got
one) and it is severely tight on 2133 dominator platinums.
the AF120 are fine in the case fan points. if using HDD cages the SP are better,
but deffo louder wind noise. if undervolting to 7v it is alot easier on the ears.
actually the OE 120 fans are fine for cost (dual in front and one floor fan) and
the dual SP120 on H100 and flow is good..

Thanks for the response.

The GTX 660 I have listed there isn't the ti version.
I'm not planning on using push/pull, just replacing all the case fans with the Corsair SP120 High performance for better air flow.

Also, I call it low budget because I'm looking to spend around $1200 and that would be considered low budget for a ROG system IMO.

SP stands for Static Pressure, meaning directed airflow best suited for use in tight spaces (such as with radiator fins, or blowing air between several HDDs). Unless this will be the case for you, the AF series of fans will actually work better for you in slots not populated by a rad since it will propagate air THROUGHOUT the case a bit better (I would think) than something that is optimized for focused flow.

I could be wrong however.

if you need to save money, use the stock h100i fans and the standard case fans and throw in a couple of yate loons.

Actually working on that now lol

Setups changed a bit since newegg is having a 72 hr sale on EVGA GTX 660 ti 3GB GPU for $292 so I'm thinking I can't pass that up if my taxes come in before that ends.

i agree on this, sp120s don't belong in a budget rig, that's at least 50€ to pay. also the sp120 PE are pretty much killing your ears. i'd rather spend the money on a better GPU, keep the CPU overclock reasonable and therefor undervolt the stock corsair fans. the stock fans on the h100i are sp120s anyways.
