Love shopping for clothes in the US during sales

Black friday, the nation goes crazy for sales - stuff often going for a loss.

Anywho, equipped with a bunch of chicks, a Visa card, I promptly march into Kohl's (sort of a Marks & Spencer in the UK).

Everything marked down from like %25 or so, I firmly grabbed a bunch (10 or so) of dress shirts from the dress shirt section, some trousers I believe and I think a belt. Went to the checkout and it came to around $190, about £150 by my reckoning, which seeing as the stuff I had was good and sales priced, I didn't feel too badly about it.

Came away with a $30 voucher for future shopping. Seems they always do that in the sales.

So I get back to base and further try stuff on that I cba in the store. Around 4 of the shirts had girl-sized arms to them, so a number of days l8r we went back with the mind to change them.

The store, similarly to M&S, have a no quibble exchange/refund policy and I chose to take a credited Kohl's card, which is like a store card cept u don't sign up for anything and get a %age discount or something.

Meanwhile, the women is adding up the credit and I get a card with $89 or so on it. Marvellous.

Whilst @ home, my friend printed out some %15 discount voucher and some other 1-time voucher for whatever it was. (all of which I swear had a conditional "only to be used separately" thing on them, but apparently they didn't or the guy at the subsequent counter was is holiday spirits).

So, I grab another 4 shirts, a few more, spotted some Levis 505 (don't like buttons myself) - grabbed 2 of those, saw a tie I liked and trotted off to the above mentioned checkout guy.

With these taken into account, the $30 initial voucher, the %15 thing, the other voucher and the $89 credit - it turned out that Kohl's ended up giving me $1.89 change !

So, to recap:

12x (or so) Smart shirts

1x Tie

1x Smart trousers

2x Levis

1x Belt

For, erm, around $100 or £75?? all said and done.

Unbelievable imo.
