Looks like I've done it again...

Well, this weekend I tested out the TT BT. Since I was lazy, I tested it outside of the case first. When I put it back in the case and booted up, I come up with a problem. a message comes up saying something happened with CMOS and the defaults were restored. If that wasn't enough, when I go into the BIOS, it says my CPU is running at 5005 Mhz (5.005 ghz) and under memory, the divider is 133 and the timings set to 3-2-2-8  . When I go into the CPU settings, it's set on auto 200x11, so I know that the value is wrong. And of course, the fact that the computer was able to boot shows that the BIOS is wrong.

As far as I know (which isn't saying much) I conncected everything correctly. I tried reseting the CMOS jumper (despite the settings were supposedly restored) with no result.

Any ideas as to what went wrong?!?!?!?!?!?

First time i am seeing wrong speeds in bios level. Have you tried reflashing your bios or maybe with a different version.

Well, I'm afraid to continue on because it's supposedly registering so wrongly. Also, the official message was, "CMOS - Checksum Error. Defaults Restored"

Have you checked that the motherboard is not shorting out on the case at all??

If not then reset CMOS the long way.

Disconnect all power sources for 10mins.

Put CMOS switch to "reset" position. Leave for one hour.

Reset back to normal position, power up.

Go into BIOS, "load optimised defaults". Then reboot into BIOS and see whats cooking (literally ;))

Well, crisis averted. Turns out my friend carelessly put the optical drive ide (secondary) cable into the hard drive ide (primary) motherboard insert. Somehow this just plain screwed everything up. Thankfully I noticed this :D . Anyway, I'm downright amazed with this Big Typhoon. 25*C idle and 32*C inside of the case :D ! Once the AS5 cures, I'm hoping it'll go to 30*C load :p . Look for a review sometime soon.
