So I was at Insomnia 51 last weekend where I had an amazing time While I was there I entered a contest to win a Gaming PC. All I need to do is get some votes on my picture and the voting closes at Midnight tonight!

It would be amazing if any of you could send me a vote, I don't know if I've got any chance on winning but if I do I plan to do a whole rig mod and post a build log on the forums

You don't show up except when we can help you win something. You didn't even do anything exceptional to deserve the support.

It's a fun competition in the spirit of a Gaming Festival. I'm not trying to win an award for 'exceptional' service.

I wasn't coming and expecting a 'we' to do anything. I don't see this forum as single body. The competition shuts in 30 minutes so I thought I'd see if anyone would mind sending me a vote. I don't think you can speak for what everyone may or may not wish to do.

Like I said I follow OC3D in other ways and was brought to this forum by them petitioning me to sign up in order to win something. I think it's a bit hypocritical to then point out that's why I'm here as if it wasn't what they wanted in the first place!

I don't use forums, just not into it, I use other social media. Doesn't mean I don't keep up to date and enjoy OC3D as much as a forum barnacle like yourself .

To be fair in essence you're asking strangers to help you win something, if you were a contributing active member of the forum it wouldn't be a problem because we'd all know you, you would however be better off asking friends & family on Facebook ect.. rather than a forum.

I can completely understand that perspective. I just would of thought those people would simply choose not to vote


Thanks for the advice, I have actually bored my friends and family to death over the past few days with asking them to vote hah! This was just a last wee attempt to get a few more in case the voting is close.

Well if I do win I plan to do something with the case so maybe you'll see me again
